What's going on in Lincoln? 4 transfers out. Definitely either a meltdown or getting rid of poor attitudes on the team.
im just happy that Tim Miles doesnt own Fran....as was suggested.
He'd be smart to not even own a house (in Lincoln). At this point, Tim Miles doesn't own anyone.

It's a meltdown. They are running away from Miles. The man cannot coach at all. Gonna be ugly in Lincoln next season.
I get a real Greg McDermott vibe from Miles, although Miles was better at NU than McD was at ISU.
No one will win consistently at Nebraska. In the B1G Basketball the Huskers are at the bottom of the league with Penn State and Rutgers and that is where they will stay.
Who are the 4 again that are transerring, and of the 4, who were starters?
1) Ed Morrow
2) Michael Jacobson
3)
4)
1 graduated, correct? So that is 5 schollie players of their 13 gone since the season ended?
You have identified the transferring starters. The other two transfers are Nick Fuller and Jeriah Horne. Fuller was not a significant contributor. Jeriah Horne averaged 4.3 ppg and 1.9 rpg as a freshman this year.
Tai Webster is the graduating senior. When you include him with the transfers, Nebraska loses 49.8% of their scoring from last year, 50.7% of their rebounding, 50.8% of their assists, and 52.6% of their blocked shots.
I am surprised that Miles survived this offseason. I thought he would be fired when Morrow announced that he was transferring. Morrow was a legacy and the team's 2nd or 3rd best player this year, as a sophomore. That is a sign that something is wrong.
As Iowa well knows from the Lickliter days, transfers are problematic when the transferring players are starters. You don't improve as a program when the nucleus is splitting and you are constantly rebuilding. It is hard enough to replace senior starters without also having to replace underclassmen starters.
I think that Miles' problem is that his acceptance of any high-level transfer who wants to come sends a message that he is not loyal to the players who are already in the program. It is hard for a player to sacrifice individual development for the team when the team views him as expendable.

Ed Morrow Jr is transferring
Jeriah Horne is transferring
Michael Jacobson is transferring
Nick Fuller is transferring
Fred Hoiberg would disagree.
I'm posting a rumor from Nebraska fans that Jacobson is enrolling at Iowa so don't hold me to this.
1. Sergej Vucetic
2. Deverell Biggs
3. Nathan Hawkins
4. Tarin Smith
5. Walter Pitchford
6. Terran Petteway
7. Johnny Trueblood
8. Jacob Hammond
9. Bakari Evelyn
10. Andrew White
11. Nick Fuller
12. Jeriah Horne
13. Michael Jacobson
14. Ed Morrow
That's the total number of Cornhuskers players that have either transferred out, quit the program (i.e. Pitchford), or left early for the NBA Draft (i.e. Petteway) since the conclusion of Tim Miles' first season at Nebraska (2012-2013).
They might not be as bad next season as some would think (still have a core of Glynn Watson, Evan Taylor, Jack McVeigh, Isaiah Roby, and Jordy Tshimanga, along with incoming transfers James Palmer and Isaac Copeland), but just looking at the program's attrition rate since Miles has been there, it doesn't bode well for them/him in the long term.

How about if he redshirted ( if he has not already done) I can see him in two years fitting ini think he is a decent sub, but like others have said, we don't have room for him
Like we need another 4/5 on this roster? That's ludicrous that he would transfer here.
Miles has had moderate success everywhere he has went except Nebraska. I think he's a good mid-major coach and that's the level he should stay at.
I actually knew Miles when I was in college. If you look at his ascent to where he's at, in my opinion it seems much different than a lot of guys and I think he's in over his head. It's a meltdown. They are running away from Miles. The man cannot coach at all. Gonna be ugly in Lincoln next season.
This. And bowling. Great bowlersNebraska is a volleyball school.
I know Miles a little also from his time in Ft Collins. Nice guy & likes his whiskey. But who doesn'tI actually knew Miles when I was in college. If you look at his ascent to where he's at, in my opinion it seems much different than a lot of guys and I think he's in over his head.
He went from small College asst to another small College as head coach took the job at North Dakota State and then on to Colorado State before UN.
While impressive, he doesn't seem to have ever been in a situation where he was mentored by a big-time coach. I think he would be fine as a mid-major coach but it just seems you have to be connected and learned the ropes somewhere along the line. I just don't see guys take his trajectory that often.
