OT: Purdue vs Nebraska

I predicted Nebraska over Purdue. Iowa will end up 6-6 or 7-5. Should beat Purdue at home. should

Iowas fan base is used to rooting for a team that gets multiple “crap” wins per season, see most of 2015 for proof.
Rockymountainhawk said Nebraska winless in October, he was wrong, any decent person would own being incorrect, any person except an Iowa fan of course.

Yet beat your snowflake of a team in 2013, and 2015 and again in 2016 and probably again in a few weeks. You’re team is becoming one of our crap wins on the regular. Obviously we have better athletes, better program and better people.

Again.

I can’t believe I lived to see the day that a Neb team would go into W Lafayette & sneak out a 1 point victory. Now I’ve seen it all.

I need you guys to lose out to make my season prediction accurate.

And we thank you Cornhuskers for joining the BIG and assuring Iowa a win at the end of each season.

You’re welcome Iowa message board fan, Nebraska has enjoyed bumping you a spot lower in the B1G. Since Nebraska joined we Nebraska fans have liked watching our team average a higher divisional finish than Iowa, additionally sweet, is reading all the ridiculous posts by sour grapes Iowa fans, but you’ll always have 2015 and those precious rings.
Even you have to be ecstatic with a 1 point win in W Lafayette! Am I right?

Yup. You just knew purdont was going to find a way to lose that one at the end. Nice call on the "Full Ferentz" comment.

Trying to watch a nebraska game is even more painful than watching some of Iowa's games. The Hawk vs. bugeater game should be a comfortable win for Iowa.

The real question is, will Iowa go 10 straight years without a post season win? 0-1 in B1G champ game and 0-6 in last 6 bowl games. At least with that terrible OOC schedule you can guarantee being 3-0 going into conference play. I like seeing Iowa right where they belong, in the bottom half of the B1G. This board and those of you on here amuse me.
Is that Neb’s new strategy? Don’t win enough to qualify for bowls & nobody can criticize Neb for not winning bowls? Interesting

Neb fan here.............I am embarrassed when I see fans like OhNellyUN makes posts like he has.

No, NU isn't what it once was, and that's a story in and of itself that I won't go into here. But, most of our fans are knowledgeable football fan that love their team. We'll be back someday, so in the meantime enjoy it while you can!!!

I've always liked Iowa fans and their program, always cheer for them until they play NU. (I've lived in both states)

I look forward to our game this year. Neither team is a barn burner this year, altho' Iowa has had some good moments, more than I can say about Nebraska, although we looked awful powerful against Purdue (ha-ha!). But the NU-Iowa game should still be a good, fun game to watch. The game will probably decide whether Mike Riley is around another year and whether we'll go to a bowl game or not.

Good luck this weekend!!!!
