Up 24-12 and went Full Ferentz on offense.
Purdue not playing to win at the end. 3rd and 7, a 1st down wins the game, and they run up the middle and punt. So Kirk-esqe.
Good for Debby. It will be an important step for their fan base to learn to appreciate and cherish wins like this moving forward.

Yet beat your snowflake of a team in 2013, and 2015 and again in 2016 and probably again in a few weeks. You’re team is becoming one of our crap wins on the regular. Obviously we have better athletes, better program and better people.

I can’t believe I lived to see the day that a Neb team would go into W Lafayette & sneak out a 1 point victory. Now I’ve seen it all.

Trying to watch a nebraska game is even more painful than watching some of Iowa's games. The Hawk vs. bugeater game should be a comfortable win for Iowa.
This might just turn into one of the B1G’s best rivalries. I could see a time where it becomes a regular “bowl elimination” game, much like it was last night.
Is that Neb’s new strategy? Don’t win enough to qualify for bowls & nobody can criticize Neb for not winning bowls? Interesting

No, NU isn't what it once was, and that's a story in and of itself that I won't go into here. But, most of our fans are knowledgeable football fan that love their team. We'll be back someday, so in the meantime enjoy it while you can!!!
I've always liked Iowa fans and their program, always cheer for them until they play NU. (I've lived in both states)
I look forward to our game this year. Neither team is a barn burner this year, altho' Iowa has had some good moments, more than I can say about Nebraska, although we looked awful powerful against Purdue (ha-ha!). But the NU-Iowa game should still be a good, fun game to watch. The game will probably decide whether Mike Riley is around another year and whether we'll go to a bowl game or not.
