Hiring Pitino senior is an athletic program making the statement that winning is absolutely the most important thing regardless of NCAA violations, illegality or just plain past sh!tty behavior. Iona must have thought it worth the risk, so why not maryland. It's only for suckers, I suppose, to do things with some semblance of underlying integrity.
