Surprised to see Kroells go down to.. Schafer. Not sure what to make of 174 and 184. Good performances by the Gophers at those weights, or poor performances by the cowpokes?

McKee vs Brock-McKee just a riverboat gambler if Im being nice, sloppy if I'm not. Brock catching him on a lot of stuff. Majors McKee 10-2. Both Picc and Brock very fundamentally sound.

If I were a betting man, I'd go with Okie State for the title.

125-Picc..better than Suriano at this point. Will give Gilman a good one. Top 4
133-Brock-Top 4
141-Heil-Top 4
149-Collica, Borderline AA...
157-Smith-Top 4
165-Rogers-Top 4
174-Crutchmer-I think he chokes 2-2
184-Boyd-AA to Rd of 12
197-Weigal-AA in a deep weight
HWY-Despite getting the upset today, DNP

All in all, need more info but this is a tough squad. Uppers were gassing pretty hard but they are usually like that in the beginning of the season. Best first five in college wrestling.

I think with the recent occurrences at HWT (Dhesi injury, Coon shirt), OSU has a better look at 10 AA's than any of the other top programs early on...

PSU and Iowa specifically still have some question marks, but it's pretty early.

That being said, PSU and Iowa also have more favorites to win it all in their lineups which makes a big difference!

Geez,
I thought we were doing all that wagering stuff in a different thread.

I do expect the Pokies to present a solid challenge to the Nits, but I still expect the Nits to win the title and the Ohio nature nuts to get third.

Minnesota's lineup today looks like the most of the names were randomly generated to represent the state of Minnesota.

100% agree. Even a little sluggish, they were tough in every position. Rock solid.

I'd tend to agree with this as of now.

125-picc-he'll probably wrestle Suriano for 3-4.
133-Brock-He just makes too many mistakes for the top guys. A guy that is stingy as hell like Montoya will give him fits. on other hand he could stick the top dog. I'd say 5-8. I wouldn't be surprised with a DNP though.
41-1st. I will continue to pick McKenna every time they wrestle or are in the same bracket and probably be wrong.
49-He's a gamer. I'll say 3-5.
57.2nd. I think we'll see a big jump in improvement from him this year.
65-Rogers-5-8. He's the key for them. Generally, when he wins a match it's by fall. He can make up with a low AA with 2-3 pins.
74-looked sluggish and boring today. Nothing had changed. top 5
84-2-8. He's hard to predict...just like this whole weight
97-AA in the worst weight in ncaa. That's a match he could have won today so 2-8.
hwt-I don't think he'll AA but after today there isn't a reason to think that he can't.

If they had a Hammer...

No, just you. The majority of stuff a lot of people know doesn't get posted because they are interogiated about where it came from.

Ok. But I'm here to tell you there's basically no way the NCAA has already ruled on a medical. But he would be a shoo in...assuming a legit injury.

Iowa state lost to Wyoming...Meredith pinned little Moreno
Maybe it's just me... but Lil Moreno is either still injured a bit, out of shape, cutting too much, or ALL OF THE ABOVE.

I'll be real surprised if he's wrestling a full season this year.

I can't, but everyone knows what I'm getting at!

Ha. Well I'm going to question someone if I think they made a statement that I don't think could possibly be true. That's just how I am.

And again, if there is a legit injury and he doesn't wrestle the rest of the year, I don't doubt he will get this year back.

I think you hit it on the head. I'm guessing we'll see Meeks when we dual them.

drew foster highschool teammate with Holloway I believe
That is correct. Holloway and Foster attended Mediapolis high school. First year head coach at Mediapolis this year is former UNI All American Jason Payne. Former Hawk Cole Erickson also from Mediapolis

If I were a betting man, I'd go with Okie State for the title.

AZ: I'm thinking Okie will underperform the current individual rankings, as will we (sadly), and that PSU will walk away with the trophy again (and not relinquish it for the next 2-3 years). Hope I'm wrong, but don't think so. Also, I can see Cael pulling the RS from Hall if he thinks Hall in the mix will make or break bringing home the hardware. That team is stacked...

So PSU is the only school capable and the rest under perform?
