OTT Session 3

I thought Spencer looked good.
I also don't think he faded, at all.

Gilman has freakishly long arms for that size and somehow managed a standing crotch lift - Spencer knows that's there and will make adjustments.

Also on that throw it was close, but Spencer avoided the 4pt move. His ability to adjust in mid-air is unreal.

Spencer just beat a 4x world and Olympic medalist. He is who we thought he is.

Im so confused. I thought they weren’t wrestling the qualifier weights until tonight’s session?!
Seems its like that since forever- keep people guessing on times, rules, matches (he wins this then gets a guy in the finals, gets the winner of Final X, etc..)

Agree on about all, but I do think Spencer did fade late, but seemed to do better than yesterday in this regard. Good sign. I thought he wrestled smart, not wasting energy on poor shots and just weathering Gilman's aggressiveness and waiting for a good opening.

Same but whatever. Maybe it’s just match three if necessary. I thought I knew what I was doing with this sport then freestyle season comes around and all of sudden I can’t figure out what the hell is going on.

This morning is two matches for the five classes that haven't qualified for the Olympics yet, and one match for those that had. Tonight is match two for those that have, and then a third for any of the 18 classes that didn't go 2-0 already.

Spencer wrestled a tight Gilman match and won. Wouldn’t expect anything different in match 2, maybe a more aggressive Gilman, where SL will counter off it for pts

That bar arm could be a pinning combo in freestyle. It looked like SL knew he’d just get one turn. Wonder if it would be possible to force the roll through at shoulder level?

The good thing about the streaming on Peacock is you can rewind it anytime and catch things that you missed.

I've found I can only rewind back about 1.5 hours or so. I can't rewatch Spencer's match now. Are some folks able to rewind to beginning of day?
