Too bad returning GOPers are too afraid to speak the truth.

Outgoing Republican Rep. Mark Sanford (R-SC) on Wednesday warned of the dangers of accepting the term “fake news” and suggested that Trump’s presidency could eventually lead to the emergence of a “Hitler-like character.”

“I want to be clear and explicit that I am not likening Trump to Hitler, but the forces at play could lead to a future Hitler-like character if we don’t watch out,” he wrote on Facebook in a farewell statement. “It must be remembered that another thing that Benjamin Franklin said was that he who trades his freedom for security, deserves neither. Indeed, how true.”

Limbaugh on one of his shows in 2011, I believe, presented a theory of "4 Corners of Deceit". The "Corners" were:

1. Government
2. Academia
3. Science
4. Media

Reduce government to the point it can't manage its self, so it is totally dis-functional. Check.
Defund education, strip expertise and professionalism from regulatory and administration. Check.
Discredit scientific studies and research. Dismantle/undermine agencies up the Cabinet level. Check
Persistently attack, claim the free press as enemy of the state, ban members from the WH. Check

Sound familiar? The right wing power grab is obvious and reaches through out federal and state governments and now more so in the courts. The fact that the Senate remains in Republican control takes out a very important element in the checks and balance feature built into our structure.

The fact that Republicans refuse to hold this person pretending to be president does warrant real concern. Not only is this person a self-illusion monarch figure, he has no leadership abilities to serve that role. To put it simply, not only is he not a king, he is not king that would be terrible if he were a king.

trump wants to be like Hitler, it's that thankfully he just ain't going to get there.

I am his base and I know for sure I want to be like hitler and kill people. don't be freaking ridiculous. the negative stuff is out of hand. time to be positive.
The religions right is his base. They only support Israel because they think that’s the key to Armageddon and Jesus 2.0.

Right out of the Terry Branstad Handbook of Conservative Governance. He made one helluva career bullshitting the Iowa electorate.

Some of them do, but it's a far smaller percentage than you think it is.

A lot of them support Israel because they see the Palestinians as dirty muslim terrorists and because of that they are unconcerned about what Israel might be doing to incite the Palestinians (who are not human in their minds).

A lot of the support of Israel comes more out of islamophobia than some plan to kick off Armageddon and the return of Christ.

You’re wrong about the numbers. Polling data indicates this end days stuff motivates millions of GOP voters. Its not a fringe belief in America.

Didn't we almost have that in 2008?

Sure it is and Hagee represents the GOP base. The GOP doesn’t like Jews, they just want them to burn in fire and bring on the end of the world. You are allied with a death cult.

I know several Jews through family connections that are Orange Turd fans. They are stupid not to realize that they are among the potential victims of the GOP (as soon as their wealth has been exploited).
