PAC12 5-0 & B1G 0-2

A game between UCLA and Nebraska has no relevance whatsoever to a game between Stanford and Iowa. Fortunately, our coaches and players have higher football IQ's than our fans.

Concerning the offensive yardage comparison, I would add that Iowa played their last two games in very difficult weather conditions where Stanford had good weather to throw and run the ball. Also factor in CJ's injury where we basically shut things down when we got the lead.

Hell, a bowl game in Texas regularly has snow. Why not play one outside in Lambeau or Soldier Field?

I don't understand the logic that college football can't play games in cold and snow.

Why is that? Simple, the SEC and southern schools have refused to even play regular season games in the north except in rare circumstances and never in colder weather dates.

The NFL plays a huge portion of their post season games in the cold and it is a big hit.

Don't give me the BS about fans not traveling. TV is the driver anyway.

They need to make it a level playing field for the northern schools.

I'd like to see it as well. The weather is going to be a factor whether we like it or not. Even in the NFL where the Super Bowl will obviously sell out no matter what it was just a HUGE deal that they finally gave in and had a cold weather Super Bowl in New York.

I know it will piss off the Rose Bowl purists because it would be the final nail in the coffin for the game..but I'd like an 8 game playoff with the top 4 seeds playing at home in the first round. If that happened this year somebody would have to play at Michigan State.

Those are nice stats OIT. Nebraska showed last night how pathetic the Pac 12 Ds are so it's hard to know really how good Stanfords O really is
what it tells me is we may get to see if the old saying about, "defense winning championships", might just get put to the test. against a pretty good offense.
