best place to watch an Iowa football game?

I'll be biking through there Saturday.

The Port is pretty much your only option and that's probably not even a sure thing as it's a restaurant not really a bar. Been a long time since I've been.

There are few typical small town bars like Owl's Nest in town but you'll have to back track off the bike path.

Nope. From Guthrie Center. My wife is from Fonda though so not far away.

no on the port.. go to the owls nest on main street; not even close. btw, the port has a bar with TV's, but no gravitas.

the owl's nest is a hoot and only 3/4 small town blocks from trail. the nest often has bikers that are going thru town. also, gr8 food.

Bike back to the Whistlin Donkey in Woodward. That's the most fun bar on any bike trail in the state! The tiki bar will be packed with the nice weather. And you can ride over the bridge!

Owl's Nest! I used to work there. Great place to watch a game. A lot of Hawk fans should be there.
