So, now, we judge KF success by what Iowa State and Purdue have never done. Going by this kind of logic, we should give Ferentz another raise and extension because he has taken Iowa to heights that the likes of Iowa State and Purdue have never reached.

Kirk Ferentz damn near ran the program into the ground engaging in blatant nepotism that made the program a national punchline, fielding bottom five offenses that managed to win games without scoring. He used up 20 years of goodwill with his arrogance about the situation, and I won’t feel sorry for him when the pitchforks come.
