Pemsl and Frederick

I think Fran is doing a great job with Pemsl. I realize with Nunge going down, it is somewhat out of necessity, but Fran is bringing Pemsl’s confidence back brick by brick. Pemsl is still hesitant to take shots, but his passing the last couple games has been exceptional. We will need more minutes from the big guy down the stretch as Garza wears down from the B10 grind.

Stating the obvious here, but what a different team it is with CJ. Looks like foot is fine, thank goodness. My God this kid can flat out play! Redshirt freshman or not, I cannot believe the confidence he exudes. Best pure shooter next to Wiesamp. We beat Nebraska by 10 if CJ would have been on the floor.

I loved when CJ was hunting that shot. Everyone in the building knew he was hunting it and when he finally got the ball it was splash. That's the confidence of someone much older.

Don’t jinx CJ on the foot. It could flair up again and he’s playing heavy minutes. I would hope they are working him out / resting him properly behind the scenes to allow extra recovery as best as can be. Kid is a baller.

Agreed. With only one game over the next nine days hopefully this will allow for a little less stress on the foot.
