Ash maybe he should be a bit since he can really shoot from 3, I would assume D would suffer big time but what else is new....Till a bit for Defense down low....Think if we play both of them it can be offset just fine.

LOL, for the NCAA tourney, sure....But need them not running on fumes by then.
Psh - they're too young to be tired. At least that was what I was told when I suggested that we needed to find some time to rest our key players when possible in blowouts.

It is, particularly on the heels of an OWI 3 mos ago.
Pemsl was playing roughly 10 mins a game and was basically a non-threat offensively. Till is probably a better option defensively any way. Give him most of those mins, and spread an extra min or two Bakari and Connor's way. Done
Agree, I think putting Ash in for some shooting and a few min break for CJ/Connor/Weezy/Joe T would help some.

I agree in general but we need to find a way to go into March, final few games and the BTT not running on fumes.
Till is fine in spot minutes, yeah you have to be a little more focused on trying to steal time with him and quicker on pulling the trigger on a timeout if things go south, but he can pick up 6 mins a game and Iowa can survive. Teams were basically ignoring Pemsl on offense too. Till isn't going to clog things up any more.
Absolutely. I was thinking that from a strategic perspective if they are getting drillied in the second half of a game on the road to go to the deep bench early and rest starters. No reason to burn up the primary players energy reserves if it's futile.
I say we bring back Tyler Cook or Isaiah Moss for a couple games. We should be good by then.
Ash should get some PT with the severely challenged offensively lineup. Not talking major minutes here, but stick him at his favorite spot and let Evelyn or Joe T drive and kick. Not ideal, but much higher probability Ash makes a shot than Pemsl, Evelyn, Joe T, and of late Kriener. Make an offense-defense switch if possible. Iowa needs to get 8-10 points from non-starters and maybe Ash can knock down a 3 or two. Till can't be worse than Pemsl.
Where is Ash going to defend? He's a walk on for a reason, and I don't think he'd be able to stay in front of guards, which then puts our bigs in more foul jeopardy.
Unless it would be momentum killing for his guys, Fran needs to be more liberal in his use of TOs to buy rest time.

Only difference between driving with or without a license is how much money you've shelled out to the government.
If we can play a few minutes of H-O-R-S-E in the middle part of each half, put in Ash.
It looks bad, in the grand scheme of things is it bad, no? But 2 things in 3 mos is bad and stupid and he needs to sit.
I am thinking this as well, maybe a bit more for Till. Ash can give CJ a blow from like 10 min to 8 min TV timeout, stuff like that/small things.
Till is a walk on too but he got a scholarship. Sub him out if possible or just roll with it for the few possessions he would have to defend for. I am not talking significant PT here, just to give somebody a little longer rest, play the last 2 minutes of the half or specific situations when having another guy capable of hitting the broad side of a barn might help. Evelyn and Joe T. are flat out brutal from the field. Is Ash a great option? Clearly not, but he is capable of knocking down a couple 3's which is a season for Evelyn and Joe T.
Absolutely. Sneak in Till before media timeouts every once in awhile.

FWIW, Once you get a driver's license in Arizona, it never expires until you turn 65, and until then drivers only need new photos every 12 years — making Arizona unique in how long a license can last. Starting at 65, drivers must renew every five years, with a vision test each time.
Not much relevance here as Pemsl’s license wasn’t expired. His license was revoked for OWI. His license was/is revoked for 6 months by the state for being arrested for OWI. So no matter what Rock and Roll believes, his license (a privilege) was going to be revoked.

Agreed. Use the TOs, Fran. The guys will need to have their legs under them late in the game.
It’s one game. Deal with it or blame the loss to Indiana on him being out which should never be the case unless he turns the ball over multiple times and allows his player to score at will. What was I saying? Never mind.
