Really don't understand why this is such an issue. Replicating Pemsl's game isn't hard. Anybody on that bench can move at a sloth's pace and throw no-look dimes to the defense.

200/7 = 28.57 minutes
Not unreasonable for a college player to play 30 minutes a games. In fact I think it’s ideal. 7 players is perfect for basketball. It is thin as far as injury goes and to an extent foul trouble. 8 is better for the long haul. Everyone saying depth is an issue. Wait till next year and you will see what an issue at depth is.
