WOB?
...provides a stabilizing influenza on the team.
I admit, mentioning Connor was a very poor choice on my part, but for a player with your head coach as a father you'd think that his shooting stroke would be more refined. Pat has a weird 3 point stroke too. Not something you'd expect from a basketball family.
But as some has said, Connor is doing fine and provides a stabilizing influenza on the team. My bad!
Still, Iowa losing any more players are not far away from finishing near the bottom of the Big Ten which in my opinion is just the excuse Fran needs to justify another lost season.
Don’t throw the red flag yet on Pemsl. He had some red flag injury concerns in high school and he brought them to college. Has really slowed him down. Not sure where he is academically but would like to see him grad transfer to a mid major and hopefully put together a solid SR season like Ellingson did with Drake.
Pemsl appears to have put on some weight, which is not going to hep his body as he tries to play in the sausage grinder that is the B1G conference season. The extra weight and the injuries have clearly relegated him to a non-B1G type player.
Do you have a brain injury?
He is a 6'8" power forward with back problems. He is coming off major knee surgery.
Picking on injured players is being an asshole. Sorry for not making that distinction.
When that poster is slamming a Hawk like this guy was, I was just giving him the benefit of the doubt. No other way to justify his words. Why do you often call people names and be disrespectful because their opinion does not align with yours? You know, you can just disagree or state your case without being disrespectful. JMO
You ever had a bad back? It can limit how you move so yes, it can impact his game. But if he gets treatment and can recover, he could be a big help over the next 2 years.Pemsl used to have sneaky moves to score and rebound and be a fairly good passer but it's apparent that his injuries have had an impact on his game.
Did it ever occur to you that the injuries are why he hit his ceiling. No. Because you’re too busy being an asshole.
The idea is good but Iowa is in short supply of F's.Pemsl has suffered thru many injuries starting in high school and at this point he should not be on the floor as he is a liability. Give him more time to recuperate (if ever) and see if he can help the team. The team is more important than Pemsl's playing time and Fran should coach accordingly. JMO.

If Ryan starts Cordell is the only bench player over 6'5". I love the kid and hope he continues to improve physically but he seems to have lost all quickness.
When hasn’t he been hurt? I hope I win the lottery, but the odds are stacked against me.What a negative thread. Cordell is playing hurt and I hope he'll get back to where he can help the team.
...of high school.
P-Mac done for the season as well?If Ryan starts Cordell is the only bench player over 6'5". I love the kid and hope he continues to improve physically but he seems to have lost all quickness.
