Beautiful game. Was arguably our 2nd best player. Played smart and within himself, but was also aggressive when we needed him to be. The “he’s not a B1G level player” rhetoric can die now. We are clearly much, much better when we have him for depth.

Funny Pemsl story. At the shoot around before the game, Pemsl is just shooting three after three. He must be 0fer 8 at this point. Shoot around ends and the entire team is waiting for Pemsl to hit one. Pemsl shoots and shoots and shoots. He is now 0-5 with the team waiting on him. Pemsl then nails his 6th attempt and the team erupts. Pemsl runs and jumps into the team at the FT line. It was pretty funny.

Minnesota is a weird place to play a basketball game, he really helped to take the edge off.

He played well and I have been critical but he may be the kinda kid that needs more than 4 mins on the court to get going. I also thought he played less tentative and thats probably because he knew the bench was depleted and he would get extra minutes no matter what. Good for Cordell!!
