Petras had "happy feet" due to constantly getting drilled by multiple players within .8 seconds of receiving the snap most of the time..He was shell shocked...I honestly believe if he were at a place that had an above putrid OL with semi decent wr's and an OC not named Brian Ferentz....he had the potential to be atleast an avg qb ..The kid tried and tried hard his entire career.

Nah...above-average is a Jake Rudock, maybe a Nate Stanley (who was a better QB than Rudock). I just don't think Petras measured up to either of those guys. People seem to forget that signs of his jitters were already there in the first halves of games in 2020. To this day I wonder what they'd do to him at halftime because he'd often come out and look like a different player in the second half. At any rate, that change in mindset did not seem to carry over into 2021 much less last season.
you sure picked the right username. Rudock left as a RSJR and left as the 3rd best running QB in IA's history he also finished 2nd by IA QB in rushing TD's and at that time was 5th in passing yards. just because he didn't win a championship he is considered a failure.
Add to that, one of the Rutgers QBs was a true sophomore who graduated a year early from high school (so age-wise, a freshman).

with out the offense they don't win the majority of the games, ST and Defense don't win games by themselves all they really do is put the offense in the best position to score.
