It's the universe paying us back from the blatant no call against Northwestern in 2016. CJ was raped and we fell apart after that.

Yeah from what I saw nothing happened.. Ive heard some people say he flipped off crowd but I certainly didn't see it. If he just blew a kiss or whatever there is no reason for the flag. It kept the drive alive

Not sure if for excessive celebration or something he may have said. For sure it was beneficial to Iowa and seemed a questionable call

Yes it was a “strange” call and the refs really decided to swallow their whistles the later the game got, especially in the defensive backfield. It has been pointed out the obvious block in the back but the BC defensive backs were allowed a LOT of downfield contact. I saw Vandenberg knocked down 15-20 yards downfield on 2 occasions where the safety just blasted him. Want to know why Stanley was holding the ball so long at times? Recievers were on the ground.

Dolph abd Podolak had no clue either. Thought he might if said something, but they settled on excessive celebration.
