Perspective: How'd ya like to be a Gopher??

Football program starts to turn around and then the wheels fall off and they crater.

Basketball team . . . well, I don't have to tell you.

Even the Cyclones aren't in the same dumpster when you factor in both program's place in the macro-picture. Think about that! Being a Gopher is more miserable than being a Cyclone. Puts things in perspective for you, doesn't it.

Try living up here. It's great right now as their hockey team is horrible, for their history that is, and the wrestling program is as bas as it has been with J. Robinson at the helm. Really, the only thing they have going for them is women's basketball.

Same goes for the pros. Wild, Twins, and Timberwolves are bad. Vikings were ok, but the Lynx are really good.

Total meltdown for the state. The gophers used to have respectable basketball and football. Considering they have no in-state competition for athletes I'd say they must have ticked off a witch.
