• Justgot done watching the Greenwood special on ESPN for the first time. Here I am feeling sorry for myself for the heartbreaker Saturday and even more about not being able to find Rose Bowl tickets......wow that puts it in perspective.

Incredibly moving piece and what Ann incredible story and young man Greenwood is.
But one thing I notice and am really moved by is not only Greenwood, but Pat Angerer. He is right beside Brett every step of the way. Every piece I've seen done and everytime we get to see Brett, Pat is right there beside him. Pat behind in any discussion along the toughest hawkeyes who have played. But how incredibly impressive of him as a human being, how compassionate and just a siren right good human being. BOTH bl guys are the epitome of what it means to be a Hawk, albeit got different reasons. Really glad the story was told to the nation this year.

I watched that about Brett before the game Saturday and when Kirk broke down, I about did too. I played against Brett in high school and he was an incredible competitor, not just in football but everything. You always heard stories about his work ethic. It is just crazy that someone can do everything right, and then it is all gone. You have to give a lot of credit not only to him for working his way back, but the his parents and everyone who worked with him for not giving up.
