Have heard from people connected that '22 prospect Pete Moe - son of former Hawk Jeff Moe - has (or will) transfer from Cathedral HS in Indiana to IC West this season. Not sure on eligibility or when he will start playing, but I know Iowa City Schools had their first practices this weekend.
Looks like Pete played for Indy Heat AAU which is one of the top programs in the Midwest. He's listed at 6'9, 210....could there possibly be some interest in recruiting him to Iowa?
Kareem Earl (Acie's son) & Savion Taylor (Asst Coach Billy Taylor's son) transferred to West this year, along with Jack McCaffery likely headed to West instead of Liberty High next year; the Iowa coaching staff will have plenty of opportunities to see if Pete would be a good fit for the program. At the very least West should be a pretty fun team to watch these next few seasons.
