Interesting article on the Penn St. page about Werner if you care to see. Long story short, he liked both schools. Iowa needs to put on a good show this weekend, although I'm expecting a Notre Dame commitment at the end. Hope I'm wrong about this!

Any word on why? I think two of his H. S. teammates are coming and he was reported to be scheduled to come as well in earlier reports on a different Hawkeye fan message board

I don't know why he isn't attending...his teamates are still scheduled to attend..From what I've gathered, he is not that interested in Iowa at this time...I don't know if that is the specific reason for him not attending, but at this point, Iowa is a little lower on his totem pole as far as schools he is actually interested in.
