After the way Hegseth performed, she'd be committing political suicide if she voted no. Anyone who listened to him and isn't confident he's an improvement over what we have now is simply a partisan, or just doesn't understand why the military exists.
I like how he distilled incredibly complex issues like building ships down to, “I’ll look under the hood”.
The best analysis I've seen so far is that the meek willed Republicans made some calculations and figured that when Hegseth kills some American soldiers they will be able to escape accountability, and that they were promised they will have babysitters for him at DoD.

Our current Secretary of Defense is incredibly qualified. A West Point grad that was a four star general, so he has managed massive amounts of people.
But he's like probably a dirty Dem so that makes the drunken Fox News guy that held a few different ranks in the military a big time improvement.

I noticed he prayed at the beginning of the hearing. If I was a senator I’d have asked him if he prayed before every sexual assault, drunken escapade, or every time he stole from his non profit. Good Christians always pray before raping a woman or stealing money.
I’m glad @Moral has posted. I believe he is a veteran and can post about how woke the military has become, and how it’s lost the warrior ethos he operated by.
