Lee really needs to start winning closer matches if he has any hopes of getting back to the top of the SR Big Board.

Not like it's news or anything, but in a few years Iowa is going to be scary good(I know Sasso not a Iowa commit yet). These PA studs need to stay in state, it's not good for wrestling.
I love Mark Hall and am glad he wears the blue and white, but I would take Spencer Lee over him every time(sorry for being honest). Kid is going to be a bonus machine in college. For next year they should mandate that Lee and Fix can not redshirt and must wrestle 125 next season!
Looks like our scholarship offer just went down a few bucks. Probably have enough to ink Steveson with Teasdale now!

I was just following along on FloArena. Lee had 1 takedown in each of the first two periods, an escape in the 2nd and I'm unsure about the point in the 3rd (stall maybe). I just hope his knee isn't bothering him too much. I saw he's got a pretty good sized brace on it
At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if Spencer misses the Dapper Dan. He hurt his knee about six weeks ago and even missed a tourney. Teasdale's semi-final match, 20-5 TF: This is the same kid he beat last year in the finals.
If Spencer's knee is bothering him, this could be an interesting match. Austin DeSanto is 52-0 this season and ranked #4 on Intermat. He changed weight classes just to face Lee, who TF him last year in the finals.
You have to respect anyone who will do that just for the personal challenge at the risk of not getting a state title. Definitely not tOSU bound with that attitude.
Thanks for posting. In 5 years I think McD/Ramos vs Clark/Gman will be a conversation for 2nd best 1-2 punch in the Tom Brands era. Gavin is right on Spencer's heels as far as ceiling. He is a scoring machine.
He has to go to 174 so he would have a challenge. He is tired of ending matches early and needs better workouts
The same guy who did the same thing last year. Lee TF'd DeSanto last year in the finals. Some on the PA side said 132 was a pretty tough weight and that's why DeSanto went down.
That is what I have been thinking..When is this Dapper Dan? I know Luke Eustice wrestled in it. Lee should take a break after state get the darn knee healed up heck Fix is bigger than him anyways.
P4P...Not as bad except for Lee. 132 has four guys in Intermat's top 20. One of the guys, KJ Fenstermacher (#17) got beat in the quarters by an UR guy in Wert. So...drop down and take on Lee and sell it as a "Vision Quest" or maybe get beat before you even reach the finals at a higher weight?
