I know this is speculation. I live close to NYC and am in the minority of people on this board that is excited they are in NYC, obviously selfish reasons!!
Is the thought that this game will sell out and be hard to get tickets for, or is this the type that if I wait and get tickets close to event places will be unloading them for cheap??
I made the mistake when basketball was in NYC I was so excited I bought tickets right away only to see them selling for half the price on the week of event.
Thanks for any insight or opinion, (on the tickets, not your thoughts on the actual bowl assignment)

I have no particular insight, but I don't think this game has ever sold out. In fact, Other than the big bowls, I don't think any of them sell out.

Probably depends on how important you think sitting in a particular area of the stadium. Upper deck in Yankee Stadium in December would have to suck - bigly.

I sat in the first row of the 300 level for a yankee playoff game this year. It was actually a really good seat and felt like you were on top of the field.

Yankee stadium is a great venue..........for baseball

As with any of the lower tier bowls, you'll be able to buy a good, cheap ticket right before the game. Unless you want a great seat and are willing to pay, I'd wait.

I would also think the higher the section in the stadium, the better seat for football. Looking at photos, I’d go 300 level behind 1st or 3rd base. Looks like that should put you close to midfield and high enough you can see

Considering that the Rose Bowl, Sugar Bowl and CFP Championship game are the only bowls that regularly sell out, I don't think the Pinstripe will be a tough ticket.

Tickets are pretty steep $75 for this low tier bowl. Not sure why they are so expensive.

Pick up a 5 pack of juicy fruit before leaving. That'll give you enough to trade for at least 4-5 tickets.

Pinstripe people have claimed attendance over the duration of the bowl game to be between 37,000 to 47,000. Last year's claim was just under 38,000.

I would buy seats as late as possible. They'll be cheap, and it will be hard to even know exactly what are good seats in a baseball stadium. Buy something super cheap and just roam until you find a good spot.
