Pitino out at Minnesota?

If true, I wonder if Liam Robbins would like to play close to home, especially if the entire coaching staff, and his uncle are not there. He would be plug n play into Iowa's system.

The fallout from being at the bottom of the barrel of the B1G is happening early. Teddy Buckets leaving the Nebby program and Pitino rumored to be on his way out the door. I wonder what will be next?
Collins has a young team and appears to be safe. Will Jim Ferry have the interim tag removed? Anything else?

Minny has won 2 B1G titles since 1937 and none since 1982. The went to the FF in 1997, but that was washed away by academic fraud. They have won something like 11 NCAA tournament games in their history, counting the ones that were washed away.

Ugh

The GopherHole article notes Dutcher has a specific buyout clause which makes it easier to go to Minnesota. He’s had a good run at SDSU.

Its a really good time to Poach Liam Robins.

Wouldn't he have to RS a year if he left Minnesota to play somewhere else?
I know this year because of Covid he and many others were given a waver to play without sitting out a year....

Some Minnesota fans are saying Coyle is targeting Eric Musselman but his buyout doesn’t drop down until May. Not sure how realistic it is or anything though.

I think Dutcher would be a good get for them. I think they play some intense defense over there at SDSU.

Like others, I hope they don’t get someone that will be able to scoop up all of the top MN talent.

Why would that matter? It isn't like we have been getting any of the MN talent.

Liam robbins went to Minnesota because of a family tie to assistant coach? Whoever takes over for Pittino, assuming it happens, will probably retain said coach.

Robbins would be a difference maker for Iowa next year. I just hope Iowa doesn't see some transfer outs this spring.

Usually, bball assistants go with the coach. Had never heard of his uncle before, not sure if he's even a good asst. I don't see why anyone would transfer out, there will be tons of minutes to occupy for next year that are heading out that door.
