Thought I was spend a few minutes looking at hotel options in Indy for the first weekend in December. Spare me the "you are looking to far ahead, there are still plenty of games left", but has anyone ever been to it before?
A few things I have noticed so far:
- A lot of places are requiring Friday and Saturday night reservations
- Most places are nonrefundable or have no cancellation policies
- Most are upward of $300 per night.
Is there a good area to stay outside of downtown? In my quick research it looks like public transportation might be only buses as far as I can see. Also, how about the ticket scene? If you were to wait until it's a little more likely we'll be playing in it, would tickets be too hard/expensive to come by? I started looking at TeamTix and wasn't sure if that might be worth trying.
TIA
