The only thing that makes it "interesting" is that fans have tried to convince you that KF can't beat the big boys. As if a 25 year coach should be judged by the season in which he was forced to play one of the worst Hawkeye QB's to ever have taken significant snaps. SMH.

Actually, not even judged by that season, but just by its losses.

Yeah, there are some 6 year olds that just started getting serious about Hawkeye football, and have only last season to be familiar with. But even they are able to look up the records. It would do everyone some good if some of you had a better relationship with reality.

I agree that Ferentz is a great coach and is definitely undervalued by some fans.

But he should be judged by his entire career, including the failures.

Would be fantastic. I have not studied it, but for KJ's runs is there a tendency who we run through? I know we had some outside runs. But it seems pretty well spread between the linemen.

To my untrained eye we are running everywhere, line is really improving and opening up some great lanes. The mid zone is a nice wrinkle Lester has brought. We are running that ouside/stretch zone so often where Tackles have to sprint and 'reach' the defenders, etc, that mid zone, quick pitch is devasting and it sometimes springs big runs against more stacked boxes. It seems opposite but we may want more stacked boxes because if you hit one, like we did against Minny, it's going for big yards.

Andersen and Leshon both back so great health! Leshon as 3rd down back is big this week.
