I think Maryland in Iowa City was CJ's first game back....

CJ did not play against Maryland. His first game back was in Evanston against Northwestern.

I was a little surprised at the line for this game -5.5. Iowa dominated Maryland the first game....didn't Iowa win at Maryland last year? I kinda think Iowa might be in this game.

JMO, we lose by double digits tonight. No way does Maryland shoot 32% from the field, 4-22 from the 3 point line, and commit 17 TO’s like they did in Iowa City. In addition, I’m just as happy as most that we’ve won the last five games but it’s not like we’ve dominated our opponents, the last three games came down to the final few minutes and could have went either way.

I don't expect a Win tonight at all, first 10 minutes we'll kind of know what its looking like, though this team never quits so that gut feet I normally can tell during FM era after the 1st 10 min does not always come to fruition with this mentally tough team we have. House money, like my OP said.

My personal view is Iowa is a terrible matchup for the Terps. I mean, you're right they'll be motivated after looking like total trash in Iowa City, but I'm actually more convinced that Maryland is in fact just not that great of a team. Moreover, didn't Iowa beat them without CJ?

Now, on the more realistic side of things:
- tough to overcome the home whistles, especially if Garza gets into foul trouble because of it
- playing our second game in 72 hours time, or in 4 days, however you want to look at it
- if the Hawks aren't hitting from outside, anything is possible

Maryland looked pretty average many times this year. Maryland at Northwestern was a very close game until Maryland pulled away the last 2 minutes to win by 11.
