I am ready to see this team put a whooping on ISU from the opening kickoff and not let up. The more I think about this matchup the more I feel confident of an absolute blowout. 4pm kickoff, in Kinnick, against an ISU team that only has 5 minutes of football under its belt. Add our two OTs return and a fairly key DT and I see Iowa physically dominating the clowns. I originally was thing Hawks by 13, but the more I think about it 31-10 seems about right.

you are so right joey. my dear cyclones didnt get the first game jitters out of the way. 31-10 by halftime. then kirk and brian will feel sorry for them and run the ball out and finish the game 48-17. the hawks may be going back to the rose bowl here. so exciting football is back for iowa city!

oh yes it will. i am being humbled and will be very humbled after the game. those gnarly hawkeyes took a very good mac team to the woodshed. iowa state is used to playing those junk teams from the big 12 that dont play defense. now we actually have to go up against a team that plays real defense. then we play OU next and their revenge could be awful. looking like 0-2 heading into akron ouch!
