All statistics can be misleading. That said, I’ve been looking at plus minus stats in the box scores this year. Don’t remember noticing them before. Interesting to note that Ulis is the only Hawk to be either zero or positive the last 5 games. The numbers:
Virginia—Ulis plus 7
Purdue—Ulis plus 4
Illinois—Ulis plus 9
Iowa State—Ulis 0 (remainder of the team was a big minus)
Utah State—Ulis plus 22 (Keegan was also plus 22)

Maybe it’s partially because he plays a lot against reserves. But for a guy who doesn’t score a bunch, he is an impact player when he’s in the game.

Where are you finding a good site for this? I've been wondering about a few guys +/- recently.

I'm definitely one of those that believes that Fran will continue to put Ulis and Perkins in against bench guys or tied starters. He certainly doesn't think they are poor players.

I hope he’s patient enough to wait his turn, he’s going to be a good one. I’m excited to have Perkins and Ulis as the future at guard!
He just needs to shoot 500 jump shots a day for a while and he will be the rounded player he needs to be to really soar. He does pretty much everything else good now.

Before the season I thought Ulis had the potential to move ahead of Joe T (and posted it). Right now he's playing .3 minutes less than Toussaint. If he gets his offense going look out.

Your best 5 at certain points in the game are Joe T., Uhlis, Perkins, Keegan, and Kris. All can defend with enough scoring in the group. Connor is a hard nosed player who competes and you have to like that. However, he should not be on the floor for 17 minutes.

Curious to know how many minutes that group has played together. I know it happened for a while in the Purdue & Illinois games (during those 10 second violations). I'd like to see that group together for 15-20mpg, but I know that's unlikely.
