I think Joe W plays 30 minutes a game leaving 10 minutes for Patrick. If Patrick is playing well maybe he gets 15 minutes. Just my guess.

Good point and he might be playing more than 30 minutes in some games. Joe might be able to play at the 2, but that will depend on match ups.

There is a lot of "small ball" being played in the Big Ten, I could see Patrick being an option at the 4 against teams like Michigan, Indiana and Northwestern. And we can hide him at the 4 in a 2-3 zone. Granted, there are 2 upperclassmen there as well that he will have to compete with.

I think Fran will make room for him. Having a wing scorer coming off the bench will be nice.

Patrick will almost certainly play some minutes at PF in the right matchups, probably a quicker, smaller lineup with Jack or Cordell at the 5.

Of course I very well may be wrong but I don't see Patrick seeing many minutes at the 4 his first year for two reasons:
1. He is super skinny, not real strong probably
2.We are pretty loaded at the 4. (Pemsl, Kreiner, Nunge)

That’s fair, but I see too many similarities to White to not try it a bit.

If Patrick can score in the B1G, he will get minutes. I’m starting to buy into limited minutes at the 4.

Yes, that makes sense but I am thinking more towards the latter part of his career.

White is more of an athletic freak. He had an almost 7' wingspan and a full 6-9. Patrick is at least an inch shorter and has a relatively small wingspan of 6-6. Patrick also has played more on the outside wheras White played inside a lot in HS.

I see Patrick at the wing, and I think he will be quite good there.

Physical freak. White had freakishly long arms, he could dunk up to his elbow. That is freakish. Not just verticals.

A longer reach than height is fairly common among pro basketball players.

I fully expect him to fit right in, similar to Joe Wieskamp, this
season. Both 4 star recruits ?
