Weed is legal in Maryland and D.C.

It's illegal to smoke in public or in cars but people do it all the time.

I smell weed all over the place. I was in D.C. on Friday night and a guy was smoking near a bus stop.

I also smell it while driving often as the drivers in front of me are pouring out weed smoke.

It's kinda brutal.

It's ironic because I smoked like Bob Marley in college and beyond. Now it's legal and I never do. There's a weed store 1 mile from me that looks like a bank.

Matter of time, it will be legalized in the next couple of elections just like medical was.

Medical was on the ballot in 2014, got a strong majority but short of the 60% needed. Got on the ballot again 2 years later when the legislature failed to act & won easily, with over 70%

Gov. Ron spent a lot of our tax dollars to fight against the amendment. I am not a big proponent but overall, I think it should be legal. I agree with you, next election is more likely.

Of the places I've visited where recreational is legal, Vegas is the only one where I regularly smelled it on the street.

My friend and I smelled it at a Jags game recently but watching them try to win a game makes you want to smoke weed anyway.
