If the team is as ready as you are, we are in business!!!One win would be awesome! Two would totally kicka$$! Bring them on !
Actually Nebraska may be an NIT candidate. If they can beat Iowa and get a win in the B1G tourney, they could play in the NIT.This team has lost two in a row twice this year.
After the first time it happened, we beat ISU.
After the second time it happened, we beat Michigan.
I'm not predicting a win at Wisconsin by any stretch, but the chips are down and the team has looked terrible.
My best guess is they'll actually get blasted at Wisconsin and then we'll hear about a "player only meeting". Then with Fran back on the sideline, they can go in to Nebraska and squeak one out against a team that has nothing to play for.
Meh not for me, they have been squeaking by and the shock for me was the man handling at home on Senior day with a Sellout crowd to freaking Rutgers. So nothing will surprise me and I fully expect they lose out based on the past 9 years of data. I did vote for 1-1 though as Debbie is TERRIBLE, BUT........To lose both would be a complete shock.
Could see 0-2 but I think they will win 2 or more games in the BTT, being on a neutral site will do them good.
The torches and pitchforks come out after every loss. Half the threads are Fire Fran.SInce when have Iowa fans got out pitchforks??? That is why we are on year 100 of out FB coach, and year 50 of our BB coach....one slightly above average, one terrible.
You do know frans record in the BIG tourney right?????
It's laughable to me that Miles and Chambers are on the hot seat and Fran is not. Over the last few years all three programs are comparable but I guess it comes down to Fran's contract.Actually Nebraska may be an NIT candidate. 8/9 vs Baylor I saw on Lunardi, NO THANK YOU!Assuming we make the dance, we will have made the NCAA's 4 of the last 6 years. This is okay with me. The problem is, we are playing ourselves into an 8/9 seed which was Dr. Tom's problem. You have a winnable 1st round game and then you play Duke or Kentucky. I was hoping to avoid that this year.
Yeah it's bad I know. They haven't been good at home or on the road lately so maybe a neutral site is what they need.
