This team has lost two in a row twice this year.

After the first time it happened, we beat ISU.
After the second time it happened, we beat Michigan.

I'm not predicting a win at Wisconsin by any stretch, but the chips are down and the team has looked terrible.

My best guess is they'll actually get blasted at Wisconsin and then we'll hear about a "player only meeting". Then with Fran back on the sideline, they can go in to Nebraska and squeak one out against a team that has nothing to play for.

Actually Nebraska may be an NIT candidate. If they can beat Iowa and get a win in the B1G tourney, they could play in the NIT.

To lose both would be a complete shock.
Meh not for me, they have been squeaking by and the shock for me was the man handling at home on Senior day with a Sellout crowd to freaking Rutgers. So nothing will surprise me and I fully expect they lose out based on the past 9 years of data. I did vote for 1-1 though as Debbie is TERRIBLE, BUT........

I wouldn't be surprised if we could beat either team, although it will be very tough. I was taken back a bit to see that Debbie scored 47 points on MSU in the second half last night. What does that translate to our D?

I suspect 0-2, but I'm not in torch and pitchfork mode by any means.

Sure it's disappointing to see an end of year slide. But I didn't think they'd make the tourney this year and even going 0-3 from here out won't keep them out of the field. So they will exceed the expectations I had.

SInce when have Iowa fans got out pitchforks??? That is why we are on year 100 of out FB coach, and year 50 of our BB coach....one slightly above average, one terrible.

The torches and pitchforks come out after every loss. Half the threads are Fire Fran.

It's laughable to me that Miles and Chambers are on the hot seat and Fran is not. Over the last few years all three programs are comparable but I guess it comes down to Fran's contract.

Again, do you want to be known as the destination that fires a coach that gets to the NCAA tourney? I mean, I understood the thinking back in the Tom Davis era for why Iowa made the move it made... I'm just concerned that firing a coach that makes the dance is sort of like Nebraska football firing coaches that only went 9-4.

Assuming we make the dance, we will have made the NCAA's 4 of the last 6 years. This is okay with me. The problem is, we are playing ourselves into an 8/9 seed which was Dr. Tom's problem. You have a winnable 1st round game and then you play Duke or Kentucky. I was hoping to avoid that this year.

Fran’s about to make his 4th NCAA appearance in 6 years. The programs aren’t actually comparable at all. Chambers has yet to make the tournament and Miles taken Nebraska once in 7 years. Obviously fran has his faults, but cmon now

8/9 vs Baylor I saw on Lunardi, NO THANK YOU!

Yeah it's bad I know. They haven't been good at home or on the road lately so maybe a neutral site is what they need.

Well, I am predicting a player only meeting now. I’ll almost guarantee it in fact.
