One of my two dogs is named Jimmy. Great name for a dog. He is formally Jimmy Dean (name the shelter gave him), but we sometimes call him Jimmy Buffet, sometimes just Jimmy, sometimes James Dean depending on what mischief he is getting into. So that got my vote.
