HR Installment #3 for the DUAL MEET as we build up to the date . . .

Part I (10/28) had Iowa winning with 62% of the vote (n = 172). The most common margin of victory by far was 1-4 pts.

Part II (12/29) had Iowa winning with 90% of the vote (n = 41). The most common margin of victory was about evenly split between 1-4 pts and 5-9 pts.

Sentiment appeared to be on the rise going into Midlands. What say you now?

Only speaking for myself, but I really enjoy polls like this. I find it interesting to see the ebb and flow of expectations throughout the season from the fanbases.

I too like these polls, and as far as opposing fans go, I think slush is one of the good ones

That's the plan (probably 1 before B1Gs and 1 just after). Could be a season for the ages -- and interesting to look back on how the fans were feeling through its course. But I see you already get it.

Right now, assuming no Berge in the lineup, I have the teams splitting the weight classes 5-5, with Spencer getting a fall. 18-15 Iowa.

I had hypothetical best-case scenarios for each team in which Iowa won the match split 9-1 and PSU won it 7-3. Ultimately went with the above, though I'm sure something unpredictable will happen to make this really f*n.

Nah, I can see that from a PSU point of view. I wasn’t thinking 197 but I understand it from a homer perspective. It’s possible.

I am indeed a self-admitted Shak homer. However, you never really know what you're going to get with Warner on a given day, either. So I'm flipping a coin on this one and going with what I hope to see.

Thinking Shak will be in top form in 2 weeks may be premature on my part, though . . .

My honest opinion is not so good for psu fans but there is sometime for them to improve with their subs before they wrestle the dual.
I have psu winning 141 & 174 for now but things can change between now and then. Kem could have a little Carver magic and pull of the upset but Hall is Hall so right now I got Hall. Brooks & Rasheed could win not sure about Nevils and if he can find a way to beat Cass right now. In the 2 matches Bull had with Joseph I just don’t see how Joseph beats him. I know 2 time National Champ but Bull has/had a answer for everything Joseph has. I just feel Bull has his number especially in Carver.

Not gonna lie I started off a penn state fan but over the years I’ve become more of a straight wrestling fan than a team. Find myself more rooting for individuals than teams. For instance I love Hall and Kemerer but I’d be a liar to say I don’t want to see Kemerer finally win a chip anyways

I could also see Iowa winning by a lot. I could also rationalize penn state winning. I know I took a bit of a flyer on Rasheed but I feel when he’s at his best he may be the better guy. Tried to be as unbiased as possible. Wanted to be honest about PSU roots. But seems more likely Iowa would win by 5-10 to be honest
