Why would top recruits want to come to Iowa and play their pathetic non-conference schedule? Top flight recruits want to play top flight teams and play in meaningful games.

This will probably wipe out quite a few FCS teams. They all relied on these games to help fund their year. Heck one game buys all of their equipment for the season, and then some.
Delaney gives them the axe and wants the others to follow suit. I suppose the MAC schools, and the like, will be the beneficiaries of this greed move. It won't help Iowa....or any other B1G school. IMO.
