Love getting Mercedes ceramic brakes changed every 20k miles it's like another $1k annual oil change. They say pads should last 30- 45k miles. Tires don't last much longer either. It's a nice ride just expensive maintenance compared to other brands. Knew before I purchased that brakes and tires are routine maintenance. If you're a mechanic, maybe.
I just bought a new RDX last year. I love it. I drive it half of the time and my Tacoma the other half. The Acura makes the Taco feel like it’s from the Stone Age, but there’s just something about a manual transmission in a truck.I have 3 cars so voted "something else" (Acura RDX - the main car). I love my 2007 Honda Pilot with 240K miles and we also have a 2013 Nissan Rogue. About to get rid of the RDX in the next year. Seriously consider the Volvo CX60 (another "something else" ;-)).
