i originally thought absolutely but now i am admittedly confused with this news on Russia and these missiles. I guess i am missing the point of the whole thing if they are allowed to go out and buy arms from Russia or others.

The deal is better. The only thing the sanctions did was to open Iran up to these talks. Take away the talks and the sanctions did squat. At least with this deal, we'll have more than what we had before.

The deal will go into effect, no question about that.

The way the approval mechanism is set up, it satisfies both Obama and the republicans.

I really don't lean leftish or rightish so I can't answer. Having said that it appears, at least from the rhetoric coming out on this deal, we didn't do a great job of negotiating from a position of power.

We held the cards, had a very strong hand and didn't get everything we could of/should of gotten.

Not sure if it is an awful deal or not just one where it certainly could have been much much better for us.
