You are a one trick pony. Pretty weak.So you’re telling me everything will stay the same. Well just chalk it down as inflation again where the cost of goods outpaces pay. Same story different day.

Maybe those other countries would have automatically taken our side. If we hadn’t attacked them on and before Freedom Day. Canada, Japan, South Korea, and the EU have all been shedding American debt. That isn’t a good sign they have our back. Appears they are hedging and prefer to be neutral at best.i appreciate your thoughtful posts but my takeaway from the stats are different
for one, the tariff architecture will hit more than the 3% because other countries will join our bloc and tariff the chinese if not across the board at least in some areas as well. second, imports as a whole comprise 14% of our economy and chinese imports are 1.6%. if the argument is that tariffs aren't going to hurt china (whose stats btw show a lot more dependency) as much as us, we shouldn't be raising such a hue and cry for smaller numbers particularly when the context is we are freeing ourselves from depending on and strengthening a adversary
You bring so little value to this message board that you don’t even know that it’s hbot.Keep going bub. I love it. You're one of my favorite pieces of HORT trash. Keep going.
This was about you, singularly. Not about every single Republican because of a choice of one not named you.See your responses below and tell me how you weren’t painting me with a broad brush.
All I mentioned was that I won’t be sad to see companies that have been making millions suffer a little bit. I don’t think they cared about the American consumer when selling their product and making plenty of money of money off of their china made goods. But now I’m supposed to care about them when they struggle a little bit? I’m sure even if their companies went under in the near future, they would still be much better off than what I have been my entire life.

Actually I’m not at all a one trick pony. I can make my own opinions and not follow everything my political party says I should do.You are a one trick pony. Pretty weak.
We'll give those farmers their socialism and they will continue to vote Republican. We had a good run as a country. It’s now over. It’s hard to fathom the damage Trump has done. Will any of his defenders explain how he hasn’t royally screwed all the farmers in Iowa?!? Yea. There will be crickets….

Idk the nostalgia bug seems strong. Get another populist that plays to Trump’s mindset but with a bit more strategy it could be permeant. Cults don’t always die sometimes they find a great opportunist. David Miscavge, Brigham Young.Main hope is that the cult like devotion that Trump has cultivated from his base proves to be unique to Trump and not something that is passed down to the next anointed one. There's long lasting damage, but hopefully Trump was an enigma and that there is a noticeable shift towards reality based politics.
It’s called capitalism. Wonder if Trump had ever heard of it.Wealthy business owners are never going to be hurt the most. The second they start to feel the pain they will either raise prices and screw over the hardworking people buying their products or if revenues starts to slow or inventory runs out they will cut costs by firing the hardworking people that they employ.
Speaking of glitches. Did you see how you sent two different responses back to back to my one comment?I think you’re beginning to glitch
Everything you posted earlier went right over his head. That's too much reading for MAGA.What a weird response. You challenged me that we had to do something. I agree with you! So I took the time to lay out a substanative set of ideas which are better than tariffs at addressing the actual issues we have with China (IP theft, unfavorable access to the Chinese market, dependency on China to manufacture critical goods). They are concrete, actionable ideas and of course you would dismiss them because my hat isn’t red.
I don’t know why you would be hanging out in this thread if you don’t want to engage in a substantive conversation. If all you are here for is the name calling and one off attempts at playing “gotcha” then more power to you. It just seems kind of pathetic to be honest. My guess is you will vanish like a fart in the wind when we see the full impact of Trump’s policy mistakes in a few months. The “gotcha” will be on all of us by then.
Why would any country take our side in the current environment our administration created? (I’m not saying you personally said they would FYI)I hope other countries take our side, but so far we haven’t seen that. If it plays out that way then great, but if that was the goal why did we piss off every other country? That was criminally stupid. I do agree the 3% number, while mathematically correct, probably understates the impacts to China. Still the point stands that on our own we cannot win this war with China and that I don’t see a world where losing 3% of China’s GDP induces famine and regime change as others suggest. China has more patience, more trading partners and more economic resilience than that IMO.
It’s a great question. I don’t see why they would. Why would any country take our side in the current environment our administration created? (I’m not saying you personally said they would FYI)
JD Vance will be the next candidate of the republican party.A true believer. Do you have any predictions for regime changes here in the US? If Trump is able to conquer China and restore American manufacturing greatness, surely he cannot simply quit after four years?
Do you happen to have any theories for why there wasn't regime change in China during the covid pandemic?
Still having troubles I see. Glad you moved on to this topic as there wasn’t a point in getting owned any longer with the other one. With your glitch?
You really think so? Name anyone associated with Trump that has walked away in a better position then when they came into contact with him.JD Vance will be the next candidate of the republican party.
Yeah, a couple

Join me in the club who got fooled by North EZ!!You are a mongoloid
Lol you realize higher inflation has been happening the last 5+ years right? That’s why I say things will stay the same.Well no.... we are headed towards higher inflation so not everything will stay the same.
Let me put it like this
If there is a fire in your house that you are working on putting out and I come by and dump gas on it does anything change?
Trump has been kicking our century long allies in the balls for months now. I don't know about others, but if someone repeatedly kicked me in the nuts for a few weeks I wouldn't really want to hang out with them. Why would any country take our side in the current environment our administration created? (I’m not saying you personally said they would FYI)
Rules are rules. You'd be willing to move on from Trump after he pulls it off? Wow.
Reduced impediments to US exports, (tariffs, unfair trade restrictions, or VA taxes),.. This is what I believe Trump is attempting to achieve.Slightly less cheating by the other players. Can you describe what that means in real terms and not card game terms? Is that what you're hoping to achieve or what you think Trump is trying to achieve?
Rules are rules.
Having a morale code and holding that line is not beta sir. That's beta talk. Is there a scenario where you would support a Trump presidency beyond 2029?

Which export markets, which tariffs, which unfair trade restrictions, which VA taxes?
It was an option. Inflation has been and still is decreasing but that will all change with the tariffs.Lol you realize higher inflation has been happening the last 5+ years right? That’s why I say things will stay the same.
Don’t get me wrong, I’d prefer we don’t increase the cost of goods but that’s not an option anymore.
All of them, and he'll take whatever he can get,.. Because anything he gets will be a move in the right direction.
