Post game traffic on interstates

I have to drive back to Chicago for work from CR after the game. Does 80 get messy post-game? Thinking about just shooting across on 30 instead.

I drive west to Des Moines and it isn't that bad. Once I get out of Iowa City area things flow smoothly.

For some oddball reason....there is a spot about 40 minutes away...out in the middle of nowhere...that always slows to a crawl for a couple of miles. I can never figure out why. Happens after almost every game.

No. Once you are on 80 you are fine. Getting there is another matter.

If it was me? I would take 30 to Tipton and then down to 80....not to save time, to save a headache.

Maybe 20 some miles away, would be Tanger Outlet Mall at Williamsburg.
