Windell D. Middlebrooks -- the actor best known for playing the straight-talking Miller High Life delivery man -- died suddenly at his home ... TMZ has learned.
Sources close to Middlebrooks tell us he was found unconscious at home in the San Fernando Valley Monday morning -- and was transferred by ambulance to a hospital. It's unclear if he was pronounced dead at home or at the hospital.

He was one of the best advertisements for
Miller High Life. People enjoyed his TV
commercials and had a good laugh.

I'll be pouring a cold Champagne of Beers out tonight for my dead homie.

Just pointing out to those who might not have noticed, he died >3 years ago.

I met him at a downtown ic bar on game day once, got a pic with him and shook his hand, it was like grasping a 3# chunk of warm uncooked bacon.

As any good Hawkeye fan knows, in heaven there is no beer.

They probably have Miller there, though...

So basically, this is the mother of all Pepsi posts.

Sitting in the reserved bleachers for the Rose Bowl
Parade, we had a contest with the bleaches on the
east side before the parade began. We shouted
the Miller HIgh LIfe slogan "great taste" and they
shouted "less filling".
