Predict the Selection Committee's Top 10

1. Bama
2. Bama
3. Bama
4. Bama
5. Bama
6. Bama
7. Bama
8. Bama
9. Bama
10.Florida.

My guess is TCU drops to 12-13 and NW moves up to 16-17.. How is a home
Win (their only decent win) worth moving up that many spots.. Remember when we beat NW on the road by 30!?

1. Clemson
2. Alabama
3. Ohio St
4. Okie St
5. N.D.
6. Baylor
7. LSU
8. Iowa
9. Stanford
10. Utah
11. Okla
12. Florida

Can't ignore Okie St anymore after a legit, dominant win; now have more impressive victory than all the teams they jumped. For all of you worry warts, the same thing would happen for Iowa hypothetically going from 12-0 to 13-0 - would go from outside looking in to #4.

I think ND could be an issue if they win out.

ACC Champ appears to be UNDEFEATED Clemson
SEC Champ appears to be ONE LOSS Bama
Big 12 Champ appears to be UNDEFEATED Baylor
Big 10 Champ: lets say its UNDEFEATED iowa

What does the committee do with ONE LOSS ND? Put them at #5?

But if you put them at #4, do you really want a rematch with Clemson?

Is it fair to put TWO ACC affiliated schools in a 4 team playoff?

ND might like to think that since they are "independent," they have their own set of rules. Well, since they play 5 games in the ACC year in and year out, that's their league and they lost to Clemson. Just like putting both LSU and Bama in the final 4 is not fair,it would not be fair to put two ACC schools in the final 4.
I don't see how the committee could defend having Notre Dame in the top 4 with Clemson, even if they win out. They are supposed to take the top 4 teams and have a playoff to determine the best. Since Clemson already beat Notre Dame, that should automatically eliminate them, as Clemson has already proven they are the better team.

At least, that is what any rational person old think.
