Pulling for Fulham like always. For a middle of the pack team like Fulham first and foremost I'm hoping to stay up. The dream...european competition. Bring on Europa conference league!

Come on you whites!

Supporting Manchester City like I've done since before they won their first EPL Championship in 2011.
This year they'll be going for a record extending 5th straight EPL Championship!
Let's go!

I still can’t believe Arsenal gave it away down the stretch last year. City was practically begging teams to take the title the first half of the season, and everyone tripped over themselves.

Respectfully, this last one felt like a title everyone else lost more than they won.

I too am a fan of the Cottagers. Followed at work and got home with ten minutes left in regulation. Just in time to enjoy a few minutes before Man U scored.

BTW, this thread should encompass all the leagues, like the last one: La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A, Ligue 1, MLS, since there are American players everywhere.

Doorman stared his all encompassing thread. This one can be put down.

Other than figuring help us to out figure out what Manchester fans we can put on ignore! LOL

City looked tired last year after winning the Champions League. But, Arsenal always choke down the stretch. It's kind of what they are known for.

Nice pic of the newly expanded Craven Cottage; the place looks brand new! How many will it hold now?

The Arsenal won 16 of their last 18 games; you call that giving it away?

I'm looking for this to be the year for the return to greatness of The Arsenal. Arteta is the man to do it.

Thanks. Enjoyed the tour and will be excited to take in a match post renovation. New capacity will be 28500.

I have friends that have been season tickets holders of 40 years. For seats in the new stand at a location similar to where they sit now it would be 2500 a seat. I think they pay about 900 where they are now. Needless to say they are staying put!

So you're saying that they had to win all 18 games, otherwise they gave it away? You really are what people on here say about you.
First off, it breaks my heart that you say people on the internet are talking about me behind my back…really makes me re-examine my choices in life.

Second, maybe I’m confusing arsenal and Liverpool? I swear I remember someone being multiple games clear of the field and then losing a couple of bad ones down the stretch and opening the door for City.

First off--behind your back? It's out there for everyone, including you, to see.

Second, Arsenal's biggest lead later was due to City having two games in hand. When they were even on games, the biggest lead was 4 points. That was never gonna be good enough to hold off a team of City's caliber, especially with the number of games that were left.

Wolves supporter, fairly optimistic about the team, certainly more so than this time last year. Would love to finish in the top half of the table, but will be challenging. Hoping the doors don't get blown off in this second half vs Arsenal.

Could use a couple of these

This might surprise you, but I don’t explore threads to see what people might say about me.

I think we’re done here.

Pretty used to not winning, but surrendering 6 goals including a hat trick to Chelsea is especially lame. How did you guys do this weekend?
Fulham won their home opener, 2-1. Made up for a crap no-call on Jamie Vardy shoving the keeper on their goal. American-Englishman and USMNT regular Antonee Robinson with a perfect one touch through ball for the game winning assist.

FC St. Pauli dropped their Bundesliga opener at home. First Bundesliga game in 14 years for the club. Really worried as we lost the great German-American coach Fabian Hurzeler to Brighton this off-season. His Brighton just beat Manchester United this weekend.

Chicago Fire came back to tie NYCFC 2-2, but I refuse to follow closely until they get serious about squad building. At least their incompetence GM just left, and we let Shaqiri go while replacing him with Costa Rica int'l Ariel Lassiter.
