The AP also released its preseason Top 25 for MBB this week.

Iowa was not ranked in that poll, as expected.

The Big Ten was not well-represented, though. Purdue is the highest-ranked B1G team in the poll -- at #14. Only four total Big Ten teams are ranked:

#17 Indiana
#22 UCLA
#25 Rutgers

By comparison, the Big 12 had five teams in the top 10
