It felt that bad and the numbers just proved it, I gave up hoping for a W after they lost to freaking Ped St in Whites senior year. From good early BTT success almost every year to the joke of the league we are.

2014 - 6 seed, L to #11 NW
2015 - 5 seed, L to #13 PSU
2016 - 5 seed, L to #12 Illinois
2017 - 7 seed, L to #10 Indiana
2018 - 12 seed, L to #5 Michigan

I also saw someone post Iowa coaches' average w\l and B1G w\l from Lute to current, and Fran is what Iowa is/has been since the 70's.

Not sure that data included BTT results. The difference in BTT between Alford and Fran is quite different.

Anyway, the data as presented showed Fran was similar to Alford who was sent packing, Raveling who quit, and even Davis post Raveling recruits. So the data shows Fran has done nothing special. We are still looking for another Lute or at least a Raveling that can load up the team with talent.
