Pretty sure Trump and Vance were fuming after this Prayer

A true Christian and American. As a liberal Christian I often feel that I have nobody speaking out for people like me. Brave woman.
Very good to see someone try to get thru to the shitbag prez, kudos. And I heard that reporters asked trump about the service and he said he didnt like it. What a baby and pussy, cant take a thing

What is she spewing off about? Supporting immigrants and the poor? Everyone? In church of all places? Is nothing sacred?
And, she SQUARELY directed it at Trump. It was glorious. I can only imagine the retribution she will face from Trump directly and his supporters.

How is that an oxymoron? Jesus was an advocate for the marginalized, promoted social justice and inclusivity, critiqued materialism, and had a YUGE emphasis on love and compassion. His teachings focused on empathy, fairness, and uplifting the downtrodden; values that align with today's liberal ideals.
Let me ask you this. Is the takeaway and headlines about this particular pastor & speech about how she directed Trump to behave better or was it about the love & hope we have through Christ’s sacrifice? Did she point people to Christ in her message?

What are people talking about? I don’t feel like people are talking about the gospel but certainly how she targeted Trump. A sign of a good Christian pastor is you will find them always willing to share the gospel message. At best, she missed an opportunity to do her job. At worst, she used her pulpit to promote her agenda and not His.

Well, for starters, conservatives don’t openly worship Satan.

Anyway, one could write a freaking book on this. I’ll try to stick to a few points for now.

Liberals proudly and forcefully defend a woman's "right to choose." Conservatives, especially those who believe it is God who fashions little babies in their mother's wombs, reject abortion and call on women to "choose life" and not death.

Jesus read the Scriptures, loved the Scriptures, and fully believed in their inspiration and authority. He even believed the story of Jonah, stating: "The men of Nineveh will rise up in the judgment with this generation and condemn it, for they repented at the preaching of Jonah; and indeed a greater than Jonah is here". If ever there was a story universally mocked and ridiculed by the theological liberals it is the account of Jonah being swallowed by a large fish, repenting inside the fish, being spit out, and then going and preaching to the people of Nineveh. And yet Jesus not only believed it, but used it in his preaching.

He told the Pharisees that he who made them (Adam and Eve) at the beginning "made them male and female," and said, "For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.” Jesus also believed in the story of Noah and the flood, another Biblical account the skeptics scorn. He compared the times of Noah to the nature of our world as it will be just before His return, saying, "But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.” He did not attempt, as the liberals do, to dismiss or allegorize these accounts, but spoke of them as history and as fact.

Another area of conservatism is seen in His view of man. Liberals typically believe men and women to be basically good. If you can just provide a positive environment, give people enough education, opportunity, wealth, and enlightenment they will surely come around and become model citizens. Jesus took the more conservative approach and held that man was sinful, not merely deprived or needing a bit more education. He told the people of His day, "If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him?"
Hey Jim, I didn't read your whole rant, but no one in that video believes in God, Jesus, nor do they care about scripture.

Jokes on everyone. Biblically, women shouldn't be preaching anyway, so whatever she says doesn't count...

In reality though, Christianity simply doesn't fit nearly with either party. A good preacher could preach a wonderful sermon that holds perfectly to biblical principles and could piss everyone off who places their politics above their faith.

The woman wasn't wrong to pray for the people who feared for their lives. The media has done those people a great disservice over the years

And of course the House Speaker is threatening to deport the Reverend.

She was born in the U.S.

So much for free speech …
And some people don’t understand why some of us hate Republican leaders. I’m not happy about it but I truly despise these fake Christians.

John 14:6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
One truth and one way to the Father? There's only one right answer. That's not wokeness.
You know that if one were so inclined, people could find bible verses from the gospels that would contradict what you cited and posted?

And no, I’m not going to bother. Just pointing out that this is a game that’s been played since Roman times. Slaveowners found gospel verses that justified owning slaves.

My main takeaway from catholic school was that Jesus loved us all. He didn’t care about the color of our skin, where we came from, what job we had, etc.

Apparently Trump put something out on truth social ripping the Bishop. He can't stop being a big baby. There was nothing wrong with what she said. Love thy neighbor. Trump loves nobody but himself.

We have something of a narcissistocracy.

Oh yes those two buttholes were definitely butthurt having to sit there and listen to someone especially a women for Trump take them to task by telling them to be humane, which means she doesnt think they are humane enough.

And the look when Trump turns away, Vance smirks, and the women there get the lame smiles and smirks on their faces tells it all that they are all just self-absorbing creeps

Trump is trying to use the church for his own political gains, heaven forbid the church has a say in it. She didn't go to his arena, he went to hers. I'd feel different is she was saying these things in the capital building. What did she say that wasn't aligned with Christ's message?
