Priority Spring/Summer Visitors and Likely/Potential Commits for Swarm19

Saw That Luke Fulton was able to make it in for a visit. That is a big visit for us and I hope he thoroughly enjoyed it. He's a top 5 target in swarm19 as far as im concerned.

Obviously we had David Bell in for a visit, but I can't push myself to say he's a likely commit at this point. I think we are looking at Derrick Miller as a likely commit, and Desmond Hutson a potential commit. I'd really like to see Britt commit soon. Alex Howard LB out of Cinci is new on our radar so we'll see what develops. I thought it was good too that we brought in the
QB Trevor Bycznski. I'd like to see an offer go out to him. Ben Hoitink has visited several time and is a great PWO candidate in my mind.

Decent Lb guys out there I’d like us to land. Henrich Fulton and Jacobs are all guys I’d like to land. Like that Bell rescheduled and made it back him and Britt I’d love. Brock at rb. A second Rb like Hall too. Newsome at De. Not sure who we have for potential qb targets that will develop. Hickman would be great yet. Hutson said awhile back he was looking to decide soon. Miller could jump on board here soon. Castro at safety.

Yes we go after another OL if we miss on Britt. Not sure who tho Hoitink is possible.

Looks like Larry Tracy will make a return visit to IC for the April 20 spring game.

Went on to mention Josh DeBerry and how he’s underrated and a good target. Then also mentioned a guy I haven’t seen mentioned anywhere recently in Kyren Williams from St. Louis. Didn’t say last time he was in for a visit but was a name brought up with us and how he’s a high target for us. And talked about about Luke Fulton at the end.

Rb: Brock and one of Hall Peat or one of the southern backs
Wr : Bell and Williams would be top wants Hutson maybe a little more realistic.

Nice to hear about Kiser's stealth visit. In some ways his recruitment by Iowa had recently gone silent as well. I think the consensus on him is that he's a strong Boiler lean (legacy). We'll see if Kyren makes it in for a visit sometime this spring.

I saw that somewhere as well. 3 Star no offer yet. Michigan State legacy. Dad played there and brother is currently on the team. Name escapes me as well

Jacardia Wright is a priority target for the Hawks. After seeing some tweets pop up about him at the Chicago UA Camp I looked into it more. He is a good sized back and runs well. In 3 years on the Varsity squad at St. Theresa he has amassed 6212 rushing yards and 85 rushing TD's. Holy Smokes! Wright is a must get and has just recieved a prediction to Iowa. IMO we should take 3 rb's in Swarm19. Wright, Goodson, and Brock. Hope Wright joins up here real soon.

With as many LBs as we took last year ... would anyone be shocked if we really don’t land anyone?

I would think we are after quality this year, but Bama is now in on Henrich. Could be a tough sell. Maybe this year’s LBs are last year’s LBs who will Redshirt, like Benson...?

I love the lists above, and if we can actually land half of them (Castro is already in) it will be a good year. Britt and Brock seem to have the most interest. Would love to get Newsome at DE and Hickman at TE (how does he not know we are TE University?). Hutson sounds very possible at WR.

CB has to be a tough sell, too, after the way we loaded up on great talent the last 2 years. Maybe we get one quality kid and then start going after DTs?

Good News: Your boy Jacardia Wright is Iowa lean at this point, new DE offer from Wisconsin Jake Karchinski is Iowa lean as well.
Generally speaking if experts say Iowa it is pretty accuarate, because we are not a "sexy" program often times they miss when a player might in fact go here. Sometimes if OSU or Bama offer they automatically just think they are going there

TE Erick All from Ohio says of the schools that have offered he is most interested in Iowa, Indiana and Wake Forest and would like to set up a visit with Iowa. He is also looking to earn some more big time offers from schools like Penn State and ND.

Back on the Jacardia Wright topic, Bud Elliot, national recruiting analyst writing for SB Nation, wrote that Wright stood out over the weekend at the UA camp. Elliot had him as one of 4 players that looked better than their ranking and offers. Wright is a 4 star as far as I'm concerned and I hope to high heaven he doesn't blow up. Need a commitment from him. Iowa offered him on March 3rd.
