Yeah a bunch of the seniors who have made this shit show even more normal than it was before they arrived. We fans don't like it either.

This game (as all others at Kinnick) was played in front of a hospital wing full of sick and dying children. At halftime tonight two tragic circumstances were highlighted. In the scheme of things Nebraska football captains not shaking hands is hardly worth mentioning. Much bigger things in life.
They should have shook hands instead of trying to be hard-asses to the team who has beaten us regularly in the past decade. Not a good look. Nebraska fans aren't happy about it either.
I see your point, but that’s exactly why they should have shaken hands. There are much bigger things in life than a football game, and good sportsmanship is an acknowledgement and reflection of that

Yeah which was addressed. I won't defend that. This is part of Nebraska's problem lately. These upperclassmen are just not what you need around a winning program.
They should shake hands because they know that Iowa is going to give us fits, even if we double their yardage. Just for that simple football part of it. But yes there is also this idea that this game is supposed to be bigger than a player's ego. Ah well. Maybe Rhule will get it sorted out. Maybe not.
That is the third time we have beaten Nebraska with a last second field goal in like the last 5 years. It’s pretty crazy.

We were not "dead in the water" at halftime. When the Neb players went celebrating off the field at halftime, I knew we had a shot in the second half. Iowa doesn't play 30 minute football games. Neb should have learned that by now....Thats the kick in the balls you deserve for not shaking hands with the captains before the game, and your coaching running through our warm up line. Literally NEVER seen that shit in a game before. Just what we'd expect from Nebraska though. Class all the way...
This was obviously pre planned. That and your HC running through our warm ups, (thats NEVER done), AND when Jay Higgins our AA LB went over to shake Rhules hand after the game he said, "who are you"? Like he didn't know who #34 was. Its obvious that all of this was with the direction of your HC, so NO its not on just a couple of rogue seniors.
