When deciding which of the helping verbs "is" and "are" to use look at whether the noun is plural or singular. If the noun is singular use "is", if it is plural or there is more than one noun use "are."
I just got the Goonies DVD. Did you know the movie was originally over 8 hours long and had a sea monster and car stealing monkeys? Michael Jackson hung out on the set.
And he grew up cute. He had chicken pox in the shuffle scene but didn't tell anyone because he didn't want to get canned.
Whoever cast Fast Times knew what they were doing. Future stars in small roles include Forest Whitaker, Nicolas Coppola (Cage) Eric Stoltz and Anthony Edwards.

Sundance edits and censors movies just like TBS or TNT. Pointless to watch them. I've never understood the need to censor films on TV. Thanks for "protecting us", FCC!
