Last year the Iowa players did not want to get down into their normal stances for obvious reasons. But under NCAA pressure Franklin has since reassured the rest of the conference that they no longer have anything to fear so as long as they have no players younger than 18 on the field.
I want to like this...but then I feel wrong liking this.
Much larger school with a bigger budget and totally different recruiting base. PSU has the pick of the litter on the east coast with a huge population base. They should be better. And given all the talk this board has done about how foul PSU is in terms of humanity and moral compass, they should win.

I'll be curious how the Hawks respond. Minnesota completely owned the Hawks back in 2014 ... that game was arguably an even uglier loss for the Hawks. And yet the Hawks managed to win the following year in '15. Of course, I think that the '17 PSU squad is far better than the '15 Gophers ... but you never know what will happen until they play the game!

Personally I'm hoping for another 6-4 game. Nothing would piss off ESPN more than a 6-4 game on during primetime.

This is rich. A Penn State fan with warnings of our impending doom. Sure seems like a broken record to me. Penn State should be dominating us year after year throughout our BIG10 history with all of the advantages they have over little, old Iowa, and yet we wait for this to come to fruition. Listen, you have a fine football team, enjoy it now while you can, but save your prophecies perhaps for a program where you have demonstrated success over the long haul.
Besides, even if what you say does come true, you still have the horrible history of your football program and a douche-nozzle of a coach currently, so reap that.

Actually, isn't THAT enough? You should be shamed for eternity and should just lie there and take it just like those kids did.
