for those that are interested in this sort of thing:
The three states in Iowa City… Are you counting drunk and on drugs as just one state?Blessed to be front and center with great seats at this one live, regardless of outcome. Met up with several Family members from 3 States in Iowa City and had a great time, like we always do. Doesn't get much better than that.
I did have 2 cocktails prior to the meet. So not drunk, and drug free. However, I did run into an old friend that could have potentially been over served. I was responsible for me only, so mission accomplished. The three states in Iowa City… Are you counting drunk and on drugs as just one state?
Hmmm...interesting. How does this viewership rate compare with other BTN telecasts? Like FB games, BB or VB, etc?
Wonder what the previous record was? Probably Hawks vs PSU 2 years ago.
So if my math is correct, 188,000 Penn State fans & 175,000 Iowa fans.
iowa owns the record for football, basketball and wrestling? Go Hawks!Iowa-Nebraska football last year is the record for a football game at 1.94 million.
Iowa-Wisconsin in the BTT last year is the record for basketball 938K.
Big prairie + little in way of entertainment options = rabid fans/congregation.iowa owns the record for football, basketball and wrestling? Go Hawks!
Watching the Hawks IS the best entertainment option. Period. For my money anyway, but to each his own.Big prairie + little in way of entertainment options = rabid fans/congregation.
Go Hawks!
Dude… it was a joke. About IC. Not you. I know better then THAT. LolI did have 2 cocktails prior to the meet. So not drunk, and drug free. However, I did run into an old friend that could have potentially been over served. I was responsible for me only, so mission accomplished.

Well that and the big football games are on abc and espn. Mich vs Ohio st is one of the most viewed games every season and it’s not ever gonna be on BigTenBig prairie + little in way of entertainment options = rabid fans/congregation.
Go Hawks!
I knew that, just decided to comment anyway. And much like Bill Clinton, I never inhaled (think that was Slick Willy wasn't it?).Dude… it was a joke. About IC. Not you. I know better then THAT. Lol
This is a big factor. I also read that during last basketball season Iowa averaged the highest viewership per game of any B10 team with over 600K. Part of that was people watching Garza, but a larger part is that the other schools that typically draw probably had their high profile matches on bigger networks.Well that and the big football games are on abc and espn. Possibly the state of ignorance was the other state. The three states in Iowa City… Are you counting drunk and on drugs as just one state?

Not a lot of local sports entertainment for youse guys. I hear folks sit and listen to college games on transistor radios while canning garden harvest.Huh?
The most watched women’s volleyball game pulled in 375,000 viewers. No disrespect, cause I enjoy watching vball, but it was a little disheartening to get beat out by volleyball.Hmmm...interesting. How does this viewership rate compare with other BTN telecasts? Like FB games, BB or VB, etc?
